First up is a Honey Badger. If you’ve ever seen a film clip of one in action you know how fierce, clever and downright amazing they are. Just over 1.5 inches long and carved by Cody Nastacio. $36. By Rochelle Quam is this little amber eagle, it is just a hair under 1 inch high and SOLD.

A jasper cat by Kenny Chavez. 2 5/8 inches high and $36. An onyx coyote by James Panteah (son of Abby Quam-Panteah and Clayton Panteah). This one is 2.5 inches high and $75. The jasper prairie dog was carved by Tony Mackel. It is 2.5 inches high and $45.

Brian Yatsattie made this Picasso marble turtle who appears to have hunkered down until the election year is over… 3 by 1.75 inches. .75 inch thick. $400. Both frogs at right are also by Brian. The second from right is carved of natural turquoise from the Sleeping Beauty Mine in Arizona. 1 7/8 inches long. $475. At right is a Picasso marble bear with a pink mussel shell fish in his mouth, carved by Darrin Boone. Just under 2.5 inches long and $48. A pinolith jasper rabbit by Andres Lementino, 1 5/8 inches long and $36.

The critters in the row above were all made by Leland Boone and Daphne Quam. The paint stone bushy tail has real character: at left he seems serious: sniffing the wind. From the other side the stone showed one happy smiling bushytail. 3 inches long and $65. Next is one of Jayne Quam’s lovely fox pairs. They are carved from serpentine and marble with turquoise chip inlay of a heartline going across the backs of the foxes. 2 3/8 inches long and SOLD.

A serpentine cat by Jonas Hustito, this one is 2 1/8 inches high and $75. A frog carved from a piece of jasper that has a natural stripe of what looks to be opal. By Herbert Him, this one is 2.75 inches long and $165.

The Belgian marble mountain lion in the two photos at left was made by Loubert & Rosella Lunasee. Just over 2.25 inches long and $50. The jet rabbit with an inlaid turquoise dragonfly was carved by Clissa Martin. It is 1.5 inches long and $36.
